IFF Awards Ten Scholarships in 2012
The Industrial Fabrics Foundation, the philanthropic organization of the specialty fabrics industry, announces ten scholarship winners for the 2012-13 academic year, giving a total of $26,500 in tuition to students enrolled in accredited colleges, universities, or technical schools.
Scholarship applications for the 2013/14 are now available.
Don Williams IFF Student Scholarship
This scholarship award pays for tuition expenses at an accredited college, university, or technical school textile or textile-related program. Applicants must be enrolled in a textile or textile-related program of study. Scholarship recipients are selected on the basis of academic achievement, community service, and interest in a future career in the specialty fabrics industry. The Don Williams IFF Student Scholarship awards are named in honor of Don Williams, 1998-1999 IFAI Board of Directors chairman, who was instrumental in establishing the IFF scholarship program.

IFAI Member Scholarship
This scholarship award pays for tuition expenses at an accredited college, university or technical school. Scholarship recipients are selected on the basis of academic achievement, community service, and interest in a future career in the specialty fabrics industry. To qualify for the IFAI Member Scholarship award, applicants must be employed by or related to an employee of an IFAI member company.

Fabric Graphics Association (FGA) Member Scholarship
This scholarship award provides tuition expenses at an accredited college, university or technical school. The scholarship recipient will be selected on the basis of academic achievement, community service, and interest in a future career in the fabric graphics industry. To qualify for the FGA Member Scholarship award, applicants must be employed by or related to an employee of a FGA member company. This scholarship is funded by a donation from the Fabric Graphics Association (FGA), a division of IFAI.

Architecture Student Scholarship
This scholarship award pays for tuition expenses at an accredited college or university architect program. The scholarship recipient will be selected on the basis of academic achievement, community service, and interest in a future career in the specialty fabrics industry. To qualify for the scholarship, applicants must be enrolled in a college or university architect program. This scholarship is funded by a donation from the Fabric Structures Association (FSA), a division of IFAI.

Geosynthetic Materials Association (GMA) Student Scholarship
This scholarship award provides tuition expenses at an accredited college, university or technical school. The scholarship recipient will be selected on the basis of academic achievement, community service, and interest in a career path which includes the development, specification, or application of technical textiles. To qualify for the GMA Member Scholarship award, applicants must be employed by or related to an employee of a GMA member company. This scholarship is funded by a donation from the Geosynthetic Materials Association, a division of IFAI.

Marine Fabricators Association (MFA) Member Scholarship
This scholarship award provides tuition expenses at an accredited college, university or technical school. The scholarship recipient will be selected on the basis of academic achievement, community service, and interest in a future career in the specialty fabrics industry. To qualify for the MFA Member Scholarship award, applicants must be employed by or related to an employee of an MFA member company. This scholarship is funded by a donation from the Marine Fabricators Association (MFA), a division of IFAI.

Tent Rental Division (TRD) Student Scholarship
This scholarship award provides tuition expenses at an accredited college, university or technical school. The scholarship recipient will be selected on the basis of academic achievement, community service, and interest in a future career in the commercial tent rental and specialty fabrics industry. To qualify for the TRD Member Scholarship award, applicants must be employed by or related to an employee of a TRD member company. This scholarship is funded by a donation from the Tent Rental Division of IFAI.

Narrow Fabrics Institute (NFI) Student Scholarship
This scholarship award provides tuition expenses at an accredited college, university or technical school. The scholarship recipient will be selected on the basis of academic achievement, community service, and interest in a future career in the specialty fabrics industry. To qualify for the NFI Member Scholarship award, applicants must be employed by or related to an employee of a NFI member company. This scholarship is funded by a donation from the Narrow Fabrics Institute of IFAI.

Safety & Technical Products (S&TP) Student Scholarship
This scholarship award provides tuition expenses at an accredited college, university or technical school. The scholarship recipient will be selected on the basis of academic achievement, community service, and interest in a future career in the specialty fabrics industry. To qualify for the S&TP Member Scholarship award, applicants must be employed by or related to an employee of a S&TP member company. This scholarship is funded by a donation from the Safety & Technical Products special interest group of IFAI.
